Booking Procedure

  1. Upon your submission of the online rental/booking request, our staff will check if the rental request is available for the dates selected and contact you back via email or phone. 
  2. In the case of a campsite or cabin booking, payment for a minimum of the first night camping fee is required at this time to confirm booking.
  3. In the case of an exclusive facility rental, payment of the base charge for the duration of the rental is required at this time to confirm booking.
  4. An email will be sent out with detailed instructions for check-in and remaining balance, if any, on your account. 
Note: For those booking an exclusive facility rental, a rental contract will be required to be signed with a damage deposit received prior to arrival.

Cancellation & Refund Policy

Individual campsites and cabin bookings may be refunded less the first night rental fee prior to 14 days of the arrival date. 
Group camping bookings may be refunded less the first night minimum booking fee prior to 14 days of the arrival date.
Facility rental fees may be refunded less the first night minimum booking fee (base rate + minimum 7 campsite or cabin rentals) prior to 60 days of the arrival date.
For cancellations less than 60 days prior to rental date, any fees paid beyond the first night rental fee may be credited towards a future rental at the sole discretion of Bar Harbour Camp.


General Rules

Bar Harbour Camp is a quiet, safe and family orientated campground and rental facility. Disorderly or detrimental conducted is prohibited at all times. Dogs must be on leashes and are not allowed at the beach. Our on-site caretaker and staff members are in place to ensure your safety; at any point a camper not respecting the facility or other campers or engaged in detrimental conduct may be evicted.
