Thank you SO much to all those who donated money to purchase mattresses. Bar Harbour Camp Board is excited to announce that we were able to replace all of the mattresses at camp this year. New Mattresses arrived on July 2nd -- just in time for the summer camping season.We couldn't have done it without you!!

Camp Dates for 2008

We are gearing up for 2008! 2008 Camp Dates have been announced:

  • Junior #1: July 6 - 11
  • Junior #2: July 13 - 18
  • Scamper #1: July 20 - 22
  • Family Camp - July 25 - 27 * a new camp this year! An opportunity for families to come and share the camp experience. Programming will be available with options for adults and children. Come share in a faith-based fun program that will include swimming (weather permitting), crafts, games, good food and, of course, campfire!
  • Junior #3: July 27 - Aug 1
  • Intermediate: Aug 4 - Aug 9
  • Scamper #2: Aug 10 - Aug 12

Application forms for staff positions Camp Counsellors will be available February 1, 2008.

You'll be part of providing a safe and fun environment for campers. Be part of sharing the tradition of excellence at Bar Harbour Camp.

The Staff team provides a safe and fun environment for campers. 2008 Staff training week is July 1-5.

The Bar Harbour Camp Society, a registered non-profit organization, is a group of people from various communities in Central Alberta residing within the bounds of Coronation Presbytery of the United Church of Canada. Members are elected to the board of directors which operates the camp, property, and facilities on behalf of the United Church of Canada, which owns the land.
