The Legal Stuff for Refunds...

Sometimes life gets complicated and you may find that you can't attend camp after all. Please e-mail us at info@barharbourcamp.com as soon as you are able. If you find that you need to cancel your registration our policies are that...      

  • Your $30 deposit is non-refundable.  
  • If you cancel more than three weeks prior to the start of your camp, we will refund the remaining balance of your paid registration.  
  • If you cancel more than 7 days, but less than 21 days prior to the start of your camp, we will refund half of the remaining balance of your paid registration.
  • If you cancel within 7 days of the beginning of your camp no refund will be issued. 

COVID-19 Response:

In the event that the 2020 Season is modified or cancelled because of COVID-19, we will be in contact with all those who have registered to consider appropriate refund options.


Summer 2021 

Youth Camping Programs


Almost every age has two camp choices this season!

Rookie Camp:
July 11-13 (Ages 6-9) Sunday – Wednesday
Drop off between 5-6 p.m. Camp starts at 6 p.m. Camp ends at 1:30 p.m.

Cost: $135.00
Registration is open for this camp.

This is a great choice for our youngest campers. Together we will learn what camp is all about. Teddy bears and your favourite blanket are welcome to join you on this journey.

We will play games, do crafts, swim in the lake, and have great food! We’ll learn a little bit about God, too, and finish off our evenings with campfire songs. There’s lots of room to play and learn at camp.

Scamper Camp:
July 14-16 (Ages 6-10) Wednesday to Friday
Drop off between 5-6 p.m. Camp starts at 6 p.m. Camp ends at 1:30 p.m. 

Cost: $135.00
Registration is open for this camp.

A second chance for a short camp for younger children. Games, crafts, swimming, and great food. Yes, we do some God talk, too, and our evenings end with a great campfire. Invite a friend to join you.

Kid’s Camp: 
July 18-23 (ages 10-12) Sunday to Friday
Drop off between 6-7 p.m. Camp starts at 7 p.m. Camp ends at 11 a.m.

Cost: $330.00
Registration is open for this camp.

Join us for a variety of programming outdoors, indoors, and at the lake. Games, crafts, swimming, archery, canoeing, Talent Show, God Talk, campfire songs … and more!


Tween Camp:
July 25-30 (ages 10-14) Sunday to Friday.
Drop off between 6-7 p.m. Camp starts at 7 p.m. Camp ends at 11 a.m.

Cost: $330.00

Registration is open for this camp.

Join us for a variety of programming outdoors, indoors, and at the lake. Games, crafts, swimming, archery, canoeing, Talent Show, God Talk, campfire songs … and more! 


Youth Camp:
August 2-7 (ages 13-17) Monday – Saturday
Drop off between 6-7 p.m. Camp starts at 7 p.m. Camp ends at 11 a.m.

Cost: $330.00

Mark your calendars for the Youth Camp!. We do all of the favourite activities that are part of our camp history…Canoeing, Swimming, Games (sometimes very late at night), God Talk, crazy songs around the campfire, Tarp Club… and don’t forget the talent show! We also take a canoe trip across Buffalo Lake and camp out at Boss Hill campground.


Special Registration Notes

A note about water bottles: Water bottles are such an important thing to have with you at camp! This year, we are encouraging campers to bring their own water bottles. If you would like to buy a Bar Harbour Camp Water bottle, you will be able to do this for $5 when you register for camp. 

Early Bird Discount: Registrations received before May 1st, 2020 wil be entered into a draw to received a $50 discount on their registration fee, with draws for each camp.

Camperships: If you are unable to afford a portion or all of the registration fee but would like to come and join us at camp, a campership may be available to cover a portion or all of the fees depending on your individual circumstances. A referral is required (email requesting campership from yourself outlining the reasons why and a letter or email from person completing the referral) from one of the following:
-a church; 

-Social Worker with Children's Services ministry or other community social service agency;

-Teacher, Counselor, Principal or Vice/Assistant-Principal of a school;

-Family School Liaison Worker of a school or school division;

-Police Officer of a municipal or tribal police service or a member of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police.



What to Bring:

  • Pillow & Sleeping Bag
  • Toothbrush, toothpaste, soap & shampoo
  • Towels
  • Sunscreen & Bug Spray
  • Clothes for each day
  • Sweaters & Jacket
  • Bathing Suit
  • Hat, Shoes, & Sandals -Very important
  • Flashlight
  • Water Bottle
  • Any required medications -- labeled with camper name and instructions for dispensation.

Feel free to bring: camera, ball glove, raincoat, rubber boots, old campfire blanket, pen, notebook, guitar, water shoes, or a book to read.

Please leave cell phones, iPods and electronic games at home. Campers are advised to mark all belongings as Bar Harbour will not be responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged articles.
